Sea, Nature, and Relaxation
A few kilometers from PodereDodici lies the Maremma Park, stretching from Talamone to the mouth of the Ombrone River. It boasts numerous trails for hiking or cycling enthusiasts, available with or without a guide. In Spring, the park dresses in colorful flowers and lush plants bearing fruits of the Mediterranean scrub, such as strawberry trees (corbezzolo), myrtle, and wild pomegranate. In Summer, we recommend visiting the pristine Marina di Alberese beach, where you might encounter foxes and fallow deer along the road.
To complete a relaxing stay, our guests can take advantage of the Saturnia thermal center (30 minutes by car). Here, you can bathe for free in the thermal waters at the “Cascate del Mulino” (Mill Falls) or enjoy a day of wellness treatments at the resort.
Sea lovers will surely visit the coves of Mount Argentario, such as Cala del Gesso or Cala Moresca (Porto Santo Stefano side), or the “Spiaggia Lunga” and “Spiaggia dell’Acqua Dolce” (Porto Ercole side). You can rent a boat in Talamone or Porto Santo Stefano to circumnavigate the promontory independently and enjoy a day at sea.
Sports enthusiasts will have the opportunity to play golf at the Saturnia thermal park resort or at the Argentario Golf Club. Those who prefer horse riding can practice this sport in Giannella, about 10 kilometers from the farm stay.
